Book a Table
Parties of six or fewer can book instantly when a table is open. Groups of six to eight can also request the Borneo Cave.
This is our live availability. Each time is marked Bar or Table, and if one isn't shown, it's booked. If the time you want isn't listed, try another day.
Strictly 21+. Everyone in your party needs valid photo ID.
Good to Know Before You Come
- 21 and over, no exceptions. Everyone in your party must show valid government-issued photo ID at the door. We love kids, but House of Bamboo is adults-only, so we can't welcome children of any age, babies included.
- Ten-minute grace period. Tables are held for 10 minutes past the reservation time. After that, the table is released to the next guest in line. If you're running late, let us know before your time by emailing reservations@hobtiki.com, replying to the text you received when you booked, or messaging us in the OpenTable app. We'll do our best.
- Walk-ins are welcome. We hold several tables and bar seats for walk-in guests on a first-come, first-served basis. They fill up fast, especially on weekends, so arrive early if you're taking your chances.
- No pets. We love them, but the health code doesn't. Trained service animals are always welcome.
- Last seating is at 9:30 PM. Reservations and walk-ins both end at last seating.
- Party size matters. Please book for the number actually arriving. If your group grows or shrinks, let us know so we can seat you properly.
- No phone, on purpose. We'd rather pour our attention into the guests in front of us. Email reservations@hobtiki.com for anything about your booking.

About the Venue
House of Bamboo is a tiki lounge in old-town Camarillo, built around the legend of The Rum Hound, a B-24 crew who spent six months hidden in a Borneo cave in 1944 and marked every sunset with a sip of rum. The bar is that cave, reimagined: carved tikis, glass floats, rope and bamboo, and a back bar stocked deep with rum.
The cocktail list is classic tiki, from Mai Tais, Zombies and Painkillers to our own originals, with island-inspired food for sharing. The room is small, so we recommend booking ahead.
